"OUR MISSION"
The Foundation embarked on a mission in 1998 to change the system and to educate the public regarding both SBS and Child Care Dangers. In May of 2001 after receiving our 501(c)3 designation we felt that success was nearing our reach. This website is our Internet access to information that is vital in stamping out childhood injuries and deaths in both arenas. Please review and share the information that is available here. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding SBS or child care issues. The Kierra Harrison Foundation will provide whatever support or information that we have at our disposal. Always remember a quote by Margaret Meade, Anthropologist; "Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world; indeed it is the only thing that ever has" September 11, 2001 A Date that will live in "infamy"The Kierra Harrison Foundation wants to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for visiting our website today. In the wake of the International tragedy that our country is enduring, we would first like to take a moment to honor the brave Americans who have given their lives for our freedom and to whom we owe a great deal. We would particularly like to honor those forgotten Americans who have suffered untold losses because of the terrorist attacks, OUR CHILDREN. In one business alone Cantor Fitzgerald at the World Trade Center, over 1500 children were left without a parent. Share
with us in a very moving tribute to New York and Washington DC These are difficult times for our children and they are going to need special support. Here are some links for helping our youngest Americans to cope and deal with the tragedy that they are seeing and experiencing. The
